You either will or you won’t. You will do something or do nothing. You will do a lot or you will do little. What you do may involve others or you’ll do just on your own. Do something or do nothing, whatever happens will happen automatically. Stop trying and start living.
Do Nothing – The Myth
Neville Goddard did not say you will do absolutely nothing and it will come to pass, he said you CAN do nothing. As you cannot conceive of the steps it will take to make it happen whether you’re involved or not.
“It is a delusion that, other than assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled, you can do anything to aid its realization. You think that you can do something, you want to do something; but actually, you can do nothing.” – Neville Goddard
And before someone brings up quotes where he said do nothing, look at the context. It’s not about forcing in the physical or trying hard to make something happen. It’s about imagining your end and all that happens will happen. You may act, you may not. Others may act or they may not. It is not up to you to decide what happens other than the end in imagination.
The whole point I’m getting at with action or inaction is that free will ends once you choose your end.
Illusion of Free Will
“Free will actually means freedom to select any idea you desire. By assuming the idea already to be a fact, it is converted into reality. Beyond that, free will ends, and everything happens in harmony with the concept assumed.” – Neville Goddard
The only free will that you have is to select the end that you wish to occupy. Right now choose to be that man or woman that you desire to be and embody it fully. Everything, all action from you or another, will happen automatically. Your job is to live from the end.
“All that befalls you, all that is done by you – happens.” – Neville Goddard
All that happens to you, by you, and around you happens in pure harmony with your desire.
Is this not the most freeing thing ever? You can do nothing to make it happen and everything that does happen is pure bliss led by the greater you.
Some people might argue with me about this, but I write this from a place of love. I want you to be free. I want you to prosper. I want you to lift up everyone. All it takes is a simple imaginal act.
Do not be concerned with what you do or do not do. You have no choice other than to be what you desire. Follow your bliss and let these lovely imaginal states lead you every moment.
