The Secret is Surrender

That’s when it finally clicks, when you seemingly let go and give up. Out of nowhere what you’ve wanted, what you’ve been trying to get so bad finally comes to fruition. Look at countless success stories across the internet, look at your own success stories and see that this feeling of simply letting go is the key.

I’ve analysed my successes and every time I follow the simple steps laid out by Neville Goddard, I manifest my desires. Within every one of my successes there comes a point where I seem to give up trying, I simply let go. I’ve found in myself and in others that the harder we try the longer we wait. It’s time to stop waiting, which means it’s time to stop fighting for what you want and defending what you were. Now’s the time to surrender.

The Castle of Humanity

There’s who you’ve been and there’s who you want to be. You can defend who you’ve been and go to battle for it or you can surrender your castle and become who you want to be. You are not your body, you are not your thoughts or emotions, you are consciousness. The fight is using technique after technique or seeking answer after answer. The defense is saying “but im different” or “but you don’t understand”, doing anything to defend being stuck. You are not special, sorry for the hard truth. You are not the only one stuck and struggling, or the only one with your problem. You can either go to war fighting and defending your castle or you can surrender it all and be free.

Give Up & Letting Go vs Surrender

Now in a sense the way people talk about giving up or letting go is seemingly the same thing as surrendering, but confusion arises. I chose and what Neville Goddard chose was to use the word surrender. Often people will give up or let go of what they desire, when really they should be surrendering into the state of already being the person that has it. Surrender is giving in and being consumed by your new state like being wrapped in a warm blanket or embracing in a hug. Remember your desires are divine in origin, never give them up or throw them away. Imagine what implies your wish is fulfilled and surrender to that feeling, that assumption.

What did Neville Goddard Say?

“Willingly identify yourself with that which you most desire, knowing that it will find expression through you. Yield to the feeling of the wish fulfilled and be consumed as its victim, then rise as the prophet of the law of assumption.” – Neville Goddard

Be consumed as its victim. The only way to be consumed is to surrender to it. Do not run from it or try to fight it, let it consume you in the most lovely way. The more you surrender to your divinely appointed desires, the more you awaken to who you truly are. You can today surrender to what you desire and start living from peace and freedom. Today, right now, is the time to give up your weapons of battle  and surrender to a life worth living.
